Last Saturday, October 5, Dr. Víctor Henarejos gave a workshop on new technologies and digital flow in Dentistry during Dr. Víctor Henarejos gives a workshop in the XII Day of Update in Dentistry (JAO) of the International University of Catalonia. The past JAO brought together more than 600 dentists, prosthetists and hygienists with the aim of updating and adapting their knowledge and skills in the different fields of dentistry.

Throughout the morning workshop attendees were able to learn to perform an indirect restoration through a completely digital workflow. Firstly, intraoral scanning was discussed and practiced with different scanners present in the market. After scanning, the virtual design of an indirect restoration was carried out in order to be finally obtained by milling. During the course students were explained the advantages that this type of technologies bring us, with which we can count on Blasi Dental Clinic Barcelona, ​​as well as the benefits for patients.

Dr. Víctor Henarejos is an associate professor in the restorative department of the International University of Catalonia. In addition, he actively collaborates in the Master of Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry several days a week trying to optimize the new technologies present in the university in order to generate more efficient workflows for dentists and patients. On the other hand, he is involved in different lines of research active both in the university and in private practice.
