Dr. Alvaro Blasi has been a week at the Augusta University of the USA in the department of Restorative Science. In this week he has given lectures for residents of different departments (periodontics and prosthodontics), the subject taught was interdisciplinary treatments (the combination of aesthetics, prostheses, implants, periodontics and orthodontics), the same that are performed in Blasi Clinic on a daily basis .
Dr. Alvaro Blasi is a visiting professor at the university and maintains a close relationship with the department head and the director of the Restorative Science master. Every year he visits the university during a week in which he shares the knowledge acquired during his years of residence and how he applies them daily in the clinic. On this occasion he focused on orthodontic and prosthetic treatments and how the patient benefits from being treated by two specialists at the same time.
In addition to teaching during this week, he has continued with research projects that were already initiated and will be published in scientific journals of high impact and has also begun to develop new projects that will develop residents of the department.
