Dr. Alvaro Blasi graduated in Dentistry from the International University of Catalonia UIC in 2009. During the following 2 years he was working as a general dentist in Barcelona. It was then that he saw the need to specialize in aesthetics and prosthetics. He traveled to the United States and visited 10 master’s programs in Prosthodontics and Aesthetics at different universities. Alvaro was fortunate to be accepted at Augusta University, one of the most prestigious universities in the world, in the program of Dr. Gerard Chiche, recognized worldwide as one of the pioneers in Dental Aesthetics. At the end of the 3 years of residence where he specialized in aesthetics treatments, Porcelain Veneers and solution of complex cases was invited to stay one more year in the department of «The Ronald Goldstein Center for Esthetic and Implant Dentistry» of the same university. During his 4-year stay in the United States he also qualified as a Laboratory Technician. In 2015 he returned to Barcelona and started working at Blasi Clínica Dental Barcelona, ​​as head of the Aesthetics and Prosthetics department. Alvaro not only works in the clinic, he also gives lectures to other dental colleagues and publishes articles with international collaborations in prestigious magazines in the United States. He is also pursuing his Doctorate in Advanced Digital Technology in Dentistry and collaborates in the Prosthetics Department of the International University of Catalonia, as well as in the Department of Aesthetics of Augusta University, USA. Dr. Alvaro Blasi likes to combine working in the clinic and in the dental laboratory by personalizing the aesthetic treatments of his patients to achieve optimal results.
